If you're looking for a hands-off, one-press latte that's fully customisable this is the machine for you. For more information, check out our Beem Espresso Grinder Profession review.
You can test various blends in a matter of minutes using its bean hoppers that are swappable. Its profiles allow you to start where you left off. Plus, it's less expensive than capsule machines and uses real coffee beans rather than ground coffee beans that are pre-ground.
1. Smeg BCC02
The design was created by Milan-based company Deep Design, this sleek, compact machine blends the distinctive retro style of the brand with cutting-edge technology. The machine is able to handle all the steps of the coffee-making procedure from grinding beans to the tamping of a puck and texturing milk to dispensing the right volume.
The machine also features an elegant brushed aluminium front and comes in a variety of red, black or taupe, which means it's a great fit for most kitchen designs. It's not without faults, however. Many reviewers felt that it was expensive for a cup to bean maker (and it doesn't come with an ice cube).
However, there were plenty of glowing reviews of the quality of the coffee as well as the ease of use of this machine. The digital display offers feedback and step-by-step instructions throughout the entire process of brewing which will allow you to perfect your drink every time. The machine will even tell you to alter the size of your grind in case that's not what you prefer. It's like having your own personal barista at home (minus Elon Musk's rocket building skills and Harry Potter's invisibility cape).

If you prefer drinks with milk this model comes with an adjustable steam wand upwards and downwards to fit the majority of drinking vessels that aren't equipped with the drinking horn of Vikings. We were impressed with the speed and efficiency of the frothing process, too. It produces an excellent, full-flavoured, delicious espresso with a great crema.
The BCC02 is a fantastic all-rounder. It's quiet and efficient, and it offers great value for money with its current price of PS499. Its only real drawback is the fact that it doesn't offer the same level of customisation as some of the other bean to cups we've evaluated. It comes with a 15 bar pump, rather than the usual 19 bars that aren't as efficient to make high-quality espressos. But other than that it's a great machine to make coffee for those who like their coffee strong and black. 2. Melitta Barista TS Smart
The Barista TS Smart comes with a variety of characteristics that distinguish it from other models. The most distinctive feature could be the fact that it can be controlled from your smartphone with the Melitta Connect App. This lets you alter settings and even dispense various coffee recipes that are stored in the machine itself.
This makes the machine extremely flexible and adaptable to your preferences. There are a variety of options to change the intensity of your beverage, cup sizes and even if you would like milk added. The machine comes with two airtight containers that are automatically sorted for different types of coffee. It defaults to standard espresso beans in one, and cafe creme (a German variation of long black or flat white) in the other, but you can choose whatever beans you like. There is also a chute that can be used for pre-ground beans if you want to use your own.
Users have also been amazed by the speed of the machine. It is faster than any other machine they have ever used. Another advantage is that the machine will notify you when one of its hoppers is about to be empty, ensuring that you do not get caught running out of your favourite drink.
The price tag may be a concern for some. The machine isn't cheap, at nearly PS999. However, it's cheaper than comparable Jura machines that have the same number of features.
The Barista TS Smart is backed by an extensive warranty that provides two years of protection. This is a greater warranty than the typical one-year guarantee. It's a mark of confidence on the part of the manufacturer. It also includes the cleaning tablet and descaler, making it simple to stay on top of the machine's maintenance needs. This is a fantastic machine for those looking to buy a high-quality, multi-functional bean to cup machine for a reasonable price.
3. Jura GIGA 6
The Jura GIGA 6 is a powerful espresso machine that uses artificial intelligence to create the best specialty coffees. It identifies what you like and rearranges its menus to make it easier to pick your favorite beverages. You can also select the size of your grind you prefer as well as the temperature of water, milk and coffee foam volumes. Its smart rinsing and cleaning programs start with the click of a button, making day-to-day coffee machine maintenance easier than ever.
The Giga 6 has two coffee and two milk spouts. This means it can make two specialty coffees at once. This is possible due to the dual heating and fluid systems inside the machine. The spouts can be adjusted in height and width to accommodate different cups. Additionally, there's a spout to pour hot water that can be used for tea or iced coffee.
Coffeee UK comes with a unique feature it allows you to duplicate and personalize your favorite coffees. This is particularly useful if you like to have the same drink in the morning and in the evening. For instance, you can make flat whites using regular beans, and then a duplicate using decaf. You can change the ingredients like the type of milk used or the amount of sugar or cocoa.
Both the Giga 6 and Z10 offer a wide range of customization options. For starters you can pick from 28 specialty drinks with one touch. You can also alter the strength of coffee and select from a range of 10 different levels for milk foam.
The GIGA 6, Z10 and Z10 are equipped with a 4.3-inch touchscreen display that is in full colour and an rotary switch that makes it easy to navigate through the many features of the machine. The GIGA 6 is able to connect to your smartphone via WiFi. This will allow you to download a variety of apps that allow you to personalize your drinks at home. The only downside to this device is that some users have complained about drip tray leaks. If you encounter this issue be sure to notify the customer service department as soon as you can.
4. Nespresso Inissia
The Nespresso Inissia is a cost-effective and easy method for espresso and coffee enthusiasts to enjoy their favorite beverages at home. Its high-pressure pump as well as its patented extraction system ensures that each cup of coffee is flavorful, rich and silky smooth. Additionally the Inissia is quick in heating up and features a large capacity water tank that allows you to make several cups at a time without having to refill frequently.
Inissia A compact and sleek pod machine, is ideal for kitchens that have little counter space. It is also simple to use, requiring only minimal effort required to set-up and operate the machine. When the machine is fully charged, it can prepare the perfect cup of coffee in less than 25 seconds, which makes it ideal for those who require immediate caffeine boost.
The Inissia also has a selection of premium coffee capsules that can satisfy any taste, from intense and strong to delicate and aromatic. The machine is also energy efficient, shutting off after nine minutes of inactivity and using only very low amounts of power. The machine's design is versatile and includes a folding drip tray that can be adjusted to taller recipe glass sizes and capsule containers that can store up to 11 capsules that have been used.
Place a capsule inside the machine and press one of the two buttons to start the making process. The Espresso button will give you an espresso shot while the Lungo button will run a larger amount of water to make a lungo-style coffee. You can pause the brewing process or stop it at any point. If you need more or less water it, you can adjust the volume of the coffee in the control panel.
The ease of cleaning that Inissia offers is another wonderful feature. Simply run a loop of water through the machine without a capsule each day to rinse it and remove any residue. It is recommended to clean the machine every three months to get rid of any lime or calcium deposits. Click here to view our video on how to descale the machine.
